After-School for PS023 and PS020
Little Light invites students to join our after-school program. Our program for this coming school year is mainly a homework help and hangout to ensure that we are providing a safe environment during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are accepting students from grades: Kindergarten to Fifth Grade
The program runs from dismissal to 6:00pm. There is a large parking lot for easy pick-up as well.
The cost is $350.00/month
Sometimes parents run late or need until 6:30pm. Please speak with our after-school director for more information. To register for this program, please fill out the simple registration form below and we will be in contact with you.
Little Light is a wonderful place to have your children attend after-school. Little Light has been serving our community for over 5 years with a heart for children and a dedication to learning. We also have our eyes on safety and cleaning and will do everything we can to ensure that we are providing an environment that is worry free. Masks for all staff and students is required. The CDC rules are that students will be with their small groups and teacher only, no mixing during their time with us.
This coming September we are only able to offer a monthly service, no daily or hourly rates due to the safety restrictions surrounding COVID-19.
Schedule:
Travel time from PS020 and PS023 takes about 6 minutes to walk.
Wash hands and Check -in
Have a snack
Do our Homework
Do supplemental work (requested by parents)
Play some educational games and hang out and have fun.
We charge $350.00 monthly.

After-School will support your child in making sure they are:
1. In a safe and secure space so you never have to worry.
2. Given a snack.
3. Finished with their homework before they go home.
4. Have great art projects and learning opportunities to visit other cultures and countries around the world.
5. Have time to explore after their work is completed or we can also work with each child to supplement their learning to better excel in public school.
